Whisper and Shout Productions was created by voice over actor Cameron Ontkean. He is based in Victoria B.C  His love of voice acting began when he was in 7th grade, creating funny voices to entertain his friends and classmates. As he grew older, the idea of acting was put on the backburner and he spent over 3 decades exploring the world and dabbling in different creative endeavours.   While living overseas he made a living as a freelance photographer, but it just wasnt enough to scratch the itch of being able to fully express his creativity.  After moving back to Canada, he settled in Victoria B.C, it was here he met his now fiance.  During this time, Cameron received credentials to become a zodiac whale and wildlife tour guide, where he educated and entertained people from all over the world.  In 2019, Cameron(now a father to 2 young girls) and a close friend founded a non profit focused on men’s mental health, and the podcast “Timeless Talks” was created. Cameron spent the next year interviewing everyday men as well as celebrities and community leaders, which introduced him to the world of audio and video editing and another outlet for his creative expression.   As his daughters grew, every night was spent reading book after book, creating unique characters and flexing his acting muscle for an audience of two.  Not long after, he decided to jump in with both feet and had a professionally built studio constructed in his house. He upgraded his recording equipment, started joining groups, taking classes and watching everything available on being successful in the voice acting world.   Confident in his abilities, he created a demo and started auditioning for voice over jobs.  His compelling and rich voice and his talent in being able to create countless character voices quickly gave him freelance work narrating audiobooks and voicing youtube channels.  Cameron's ability to match the perfect voice to a project allows him to deliver results that any client would be happy with.
